Frequently Asked Questions

Are you employed by Crown Financial Ministries?  No, I was trained by Crown and use their resources in my coaching.

What is a coaching participant?  A coaching participant is someone participating in the Money Map Coaching program.

What is expected of the coaching participant?  The Money Map Coach provides guidance and counsel using practical tools and scripture. The participant(s) is expected to take ownership of their finances by following steps to create a spending plan, track spending and perform weekly homework studying God’s word on money.

How long are the in-person meetings?  The first meeting is typically 2 hours.  Sub-sequential meetings are usually 1 – 1.5 hours depending on the situation.

How many in-person meetings are conducted?  The amount of meetings is completely up to the coaching participant.   It typically takes 4-5 meetings to complete the study and apply the practical tools to your situation.

Where is the meeting place?  I conduct all of my meetings in the privacy of a conference room at the Frisco Public Library.   You can feel comfortable knowing no one will over hear our conversations.

Can I meet without my spouse?  This is generally not a good approach unless there are unique circumstances preventing you meeting together.  Managing personal finances should involve both the husband and wife.
